Lately, I have been having a lot of fun comparing Mallory's baby pictures with Liam's. Partly this has been driven by Liam's disbelief that anything Mallory uses now used to be his. Tell him that he used to sit in Mal's car seat or exersaucer, and he won't believe you. Show him a picture of him in there, and he thinks it's hilarious. This has prompted a lot of digging out of photo albums and scrapbooks as of late, to try to prove to him that we're not lying.Also today, I finally finished off the last few pages of a Liam's first year album I made for Dana (just a little tardy!! And yes, my mom got one too; and no, hers was not a lot more timely than Dana's.) It's amazing how in some baby pictures, he totally looks like he does now, and in some I hardly even recognize him. Looking at pictures when he was around 9 or 10 months old gave me some hope that Mallory might wind up with curly hair at some future time. Right now she has the big cowlick/spike thing going on at the crown of her head:
But, it's pretty similar to something Liam had happening for a while too, before his curls came out:
