Like she needed to ask

Last night, Mallory was being impossible at bedtime, getting up several times saying she had to pee, was too hot, was too cold, etc. In other words – stalling for time.

I took her for one last trip to the bathroom and told her she had better not get out of bed again. I tucked her into bed and as I did, she reached up to pull my cheek down to her, gave me a kiss and asked, “Do you still like me, mom?”

More than words can say, sweet pea.
