Liam came home from Gramma and Grampa's house today with an ancient birders' field guide they picked up at a used book store. He sat down with it and gave me a walk-through and I was dumbstruck - I think he could give me a biology lesson. How does a two-year-old know this much about birds and even more pressing - why does he care??
