Sleeping beauties

Thursday was another bad night. (Although 'bad' is a relative term, I now consider Liam waking more than once 'bad', since he's proven he can do without, but maybe that's not realistic for a not-yet-3 month old.) The best thing about a bad night is sleeping in with Liam the next day. He wakes up around 5 or 6 a.m. but will snooze contentedly again as long as he's with me - sometimes for 2 or 3 more hours. Chad was up early to go to the track yesterday and when he came home he snapped this. He doesn't take pictures often (and when he does I often wish he'd let me do a little hair-n-makeup first) but I have to admit, they are pretty cute when he does.

Last night was a good night - a seven hour stretch, just one feeding. Chad is home today for the stat holiday so we are ready for a little R-n-R and some Wimbledon. He is taking most if not all of next week off - his first time off since the week Liam was born. We will enjoy having him home and I will enjoy showing him just how much goes on around the house during the day now that Liam is here!...

You will have to let us know if at the end of one week things seemed as busy with 2 of you home rather than just mom and baby. I personally think for Brad to appreciate what it is like, I would have to leave the house completely for at least 2-3 days so that his every thought needs to first begin with Sydney. With both of us home...that never needs to happen.
